For Courier, last-mile delivery and small fleet operators

Onfleet starts at $619 a month. Own FleetKit for $179 once.

Dispatch, driver app, proof of delivery and customer tracking, except the code is yours and no plan counts your tasks.

The verdict

FleetKit replaces Onfleet for courier, last-mile delivery and small fleet operators: a one-time $179 instead of paying from $619/mo indefinitely, and you own the source code and the database. Keep Onfleet if you run more than a small fleet, need auto-dispatch and vendor support at scale, or want a hosted product with a vendor-run driver app.

What's actually different

Feature parity is table stakes. The real shift is ownership.

No task meter

Onfleet includes a fixed task volume per plan. FleetKit runs on your own infrastructure, so volume is a hosting question, not a plan upgrade.

Your delivery history

Every task, driver and proof of delivery is a row in your own database, with no 90-day analytics window.

Extend it

Need a rule only your business has? It is your code, so you add it.

How switching works

Most operators take 2-3 weeks end to end. We handle the data migration; you handle the customer-facing brand polish.

  1. 1

    Export your tasks

Onfleet can export tasks as a CSV by status, date, team or driver, and sends a link by email. Export everything you want to keep.

  2. 2

    Deploy FleetKit

Accept the repository invitation and follow the README to deploy on your own Supabase and Vercel.

  3. 3

    Add drivers and vehicles

Create your drivers and vehicles, then import historical tasks if you want them for reporting.

  4. 4

Move a route at a time

Dispatch one route in FleetKit while the rest stay in Onfleet, then cut over fully.

Questions we hear

What does FleetKit cost to run?+

FleetKit is $179 once. You pay your own hosting and messaging; Supabase and Vercel have free tiers, and SMS is billed by your own provider.

Does it do auto-dispatch?+

FleetKit has a dispatch board with route optimization. Onfleet lists auto-dispatch on its Scale plan; FleetKit does not claim it.
